What follows are the current rules of conduct for participants of xblRacing. It is the responsibility of every user to check this page on a regular basis for any revisions in these rules before participating on the site. By participating at xblRacing, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions listed below.
Any and all communications on this site (including but not limited to: posts in public and private forums, private messages, signatures, avatars, attached and linked images, linked sites and media, and user titles) must be appropriate.
Appropriate content means:- No cursing. This includes deliberate or inadvertant manipulation of content to circumvent the censor.
- No pornography nor any obviously risque content (if there's a question, consider what would be found in a PG-13 movie as a good guideline). This also includes nude shots with strategic placement of obstructions as well as ASCII representations.
- No malicious content (virus, redirections, pop-ups, etc.) nor links to malicious content.
- No personal information of members divulged without express permission of the individual in question.
- No abuse of vb code (including IMG code).
- No abuse of HTML.
- No spam.
- No flaming.
- Observe all copyright laws when posting copyrighted material. If the material belongs to someone else, credit the original author. Do not post material if you do not have permission to distribute it electronically or otherwise.
- No discussion, allusion to or encouragement of any illegal activity. Links provided to locations that deal with any such activity are also expressly forbidden. Illegal activities include but are not limited to mod chips, and file sharing of copyrighted material without express permission of the copyright holder.
- No posting messages that violate Federal, State, or Local laws which include, but are not limited to, anything that violates a copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or is bound by NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).
- No foreign language posts.
- No advertising, buying, selling or trading.
All content posted becomes the property of xblRacing.
xblRacing has addressed privacy concerns by allowing users to set-up their accounts so that e-mail addresses are not displayed to normal users, but rather to staff only. You must have a valid e-mail account where you can be reached by the staff.
xblRacing reserves the right to edit, reprint, distribute, or delete any content for any reason without prior notification or explanation to the author. The staff frequently review content for violations of xblRacing rules. Any content found to be in violation can be deleted without warning or explanation.
xblRacing also reserves the right to suspend any privileges or ban any user, at any time, and for any reason without recourse, at the discretion of the staff.
xblRacing and its representatives will not be held liable for the result of the usage of any information provided in the xblRacing forums, and disclaim all liability resulting in the use of that information.
xblRacing takes no responsibility for the content of any of the messages posted in the xblRacing forums or of the authenticity of its authors. All opinions and views expressed in the xblRacing forums are solely those of their respective authors and are not necessarily those of xblRacing or its representatives.
xblRacing forum members are limited to
one account, unless otherwise authorized by an xblRacing administrator. Members may not impersonate other individuals, falsely represent themselves, or use other member's accounts for any purpose.
The ultimate authority and arbiter of what actions are or are not appropriate is the staff of xblRacing. All users must remain respectful of the site staff and follow their directives without fail.
